HiGuard is a 100% premium exterior acrylic, developed to give maximum durability in exposed conditions. It is designed to make application as effortless as possible and to give even coverage without sagging.

These properties make it particularly suitable for coating most exterior surfaces. Available in Satin, Semi-gloss or Gloss finishes.

Surface preparation

General preparation of the surface to be painted should be completed before commencing application.
All loose material must be removed and surface damage or imperfections made good.
The surface must be clean, dry and free of contaminants.
Areas with a build up of grime must be cleaned with sugar soap or quality equivalent.
Previously painted enamel and polyurethane must be sanded to remove gloss.

Touch dry 20 minutes

Application is not recommended if the surface and/ or air temperature is less than 10˚C or is liable to fall below 10˚C during the drying period.

Clean up and thinning

Clean up all equipment with water.
On very dry substrates or, in warm and/or low humidity, HiGuard may be thinned by the addition of up to 50mls of water per litre.
Hot weather thinners may be added during very hot weather at the rate of up to 50mls per litre.


Read label before use and keep out of reach of children.
If medical advice is needed: have product container or label at hand.
Wear protective clothing such as overalls, goggles and gloves and ventilate working areas.
Wash any paint deposits off skin.


The HiGuard rangehas been optimised for exterior application.
Therefore it is not recommended for interior living areas.
It is not suitable for use on face to face contact surfaces such as windows and door frames.
