Preparation: The surface must be clean and free of all lichen, moss, grease, oil, chewing gum, silicon and other foreign matter.
Moss and Lichen Contamination: Use Nutech Hypo in accordance with the relevant TDS allowing the surface to thoroughly dry after preparation is complete.
Grease & Oil: Use Nu-EcoSafe Degreaser in accordance with the relevant TDS.
High-pressure water blast > 2500 PSI to remove any grease, oil, food or stains. Allow to thoroughly dry.
Repair: All non-structural cracking and any surface damage. Nutech Paint recommends seeking professional advice regarding any structural or drainage issues prior to commencement of works.
Any ponding of water deeper than 20mm will require patch repairing. Where the existing coating has been removed patch repair the surface using NuCourt Fill Coat in accordance with the relevant TDS
Squeegee: First Coat: Apply 1 coat NuCourt Pro Coat Method: 1. Pour a windrow of NuCourt Pro Coat parallel to the court edge. 2. Apply even downward pressure and avoid leaving thick film sections on either side of the applicator. 3. Walking in the direction of the windrow, spread with the applicator to obtain an even cover then, reverse direction. 4. Allow the coat to dry. 5. After the coating is dry, inspect the surface and scrape or grind off any excess lumps or irregularities
Second Coat: Apply NuCourt Pro Coat in the above-described method. Note: Do not overwork areas and always maintain a wet leading edge. Undulating surfaces: Squeegee method may not be suitable.
2 Broom Method: First Coat: Apply 1 coat NuCourt Pro Coat Method: 1. Spread the NuCourt Pro Coat coating with a stiff bristle broom 2. To obtain a smooth and even finish, follow up with a soft bristle broom 3. Allow the coat to dry 4. After the coating is dry, inspect the surface and scrape or grind off any excess lumps or irregularities
Second Coat: Apply NuCourt Pro Coat in the above-described method. NOTE: Broom application usually uses 10% more coating material than squeegee application. Top Coat Pre – Existing Surfaces: In accordance with the methods described in the TDS
